Running distribution centers around-the-clock requires core infrastructure elements, including:
- Security – All CDS facilities are equipped with automated security and camera systems that provide protection for the inventory inside. Additional security services are available for specific client needs.
- Security Personnel – CDS will directly provide or contract with companies to provide building or adjacent property (trailer yards, lots) security to protect client inventory.
- Fire Protection – Sprinkler systems and other fire-retardant compounds are a vital part of the infrastructure of every CDS facility; these systems are tested regularly and tied into the independently monitored alarm systems for added security.
- Maintenance – All CDS facilities are cleaned and maintained on a daily basis. Spotless floors, neat and straight aisles, and ample lighting are the hallmarks of a CDS distribution center. Our visitors regularly comment on how well our facilities are maintained, and we tend to agree.
